If your dog is experiencing weakness on his front leg(s) and is limping – particularly after a long walk, then the wrist wrap is the first thing you should try. The wrist wrap was developed here in the USA by veterinarians and is a simple solution for a common problem .
Much like a human’s arms, the dog has a wrist joint directly above each of their paws. When properly applied to your dog’s wrist, the Wrist Wrap will help to stabilize the forearm of your dog lending vital support to important tendons and muscles in your dog’s leg and wrist areas.
Applying the Wrist Wrap to your dog takes only a matter of seconds! Locate the area on the front leg – about an inch above where the wrist bends, and firmly wrap the neoprane brace around the area, securing it with the soft Velcro. It is important to make sure the dog can still flex his paw while wearing the brace. Once properly applied your dog will be ready for those long hikes again!
